I’ve been MIA in the blogging department as of late due to an overwhelming load of homework. Grad school is no joke, friends.
But as the week is coming to a close and assignments are passed in, I feel the pace petering out to a steady tromp. It feels good. Relieving.
In the midst of all this chaos, Zac and I had the pleasure of celebrating 2 years of sweet friendship on Tuesday the 4th! It feels like yesterday when he approached my front door and we awkwardly greeted each other for the first time. But you already know that story.
This past Tuesday, Zac came to my house, not through the front door like an unfamiliar guest, but through the garage door like a comfortable family member. And when I went downstairs, he was happily sitting on the couch waiting for me with a lovely bouquet of roses. I swooned.
We thus proceeded to have a beautiful dinner at the same place we go every year. (The same place we had our first date & where he asked me to marry him). So an incredibly special location.
The remainder of the night consisted of cuddles, cats, chats with my momma, Hallmark and HGTV, chocolate covered almonds, and ample amounts of joy.
Needless to say, a perfect ending to a stressful day.
Now, he’s going to be my husband in less than 4 months! 114 days to be exact 🙂
I can’t wait to marry him & make him my forever 💛
