It’s taken me a while to post some of the highlights of my wedding day because I selfishly have wanted to cherish these moments between Zac and myself. But I think that’s okay. Today, I feel ready to share my heart and have you all enjoy it with me.
One of the most beautiful days of my life has come and gone. I am now a happily married woman to the best guy I know. If it weren’t for the two rings I now wear on my left hand, I might need to pinch myself to know it’s actually true.
I’m just immensely thankful and immensely blessed.
Finally, after a long year of planning and finalizing all the details, the day actually came. And it was perfectly imperfectly perfect. The best day of my life.
It’s a surreal feeling walking down the aisle to the person who holds your heart. It’s both overwhelming and peaceful. It’s both beautiful and frightening. And all the while a giant storm of butterflies seems to be hatching from their cocoons all at once, and even though they reside inside your belly, it feels like they are fluttering all around you.
It’s the seconds before and after you say, “I do,” which truly puts reality into perspective. These are the moments that you try to soak in and absorb because they are almost as fleeting as the fluttering butterflies. But you hold on because you want to cherish every moment. You want to savor it.
As Zac and I stood at the altar, facing each other and holding hands, all I could think was, “Wow, it’s finally happening. The day is here. And I’m so ready.” The vows we had written were finally spoken as I tried rather hard to hold back tears. We were both emotional, but our joy in the Lord’s abundant blessings left us smiling all day.
After we vowed to commit our lives to one another, we sealed it with a kiss. (If anyone knows me, I’m not really comfortable showing PDA, but it’s a curious thing, being married. You kind of don’t care anymore).
Needless to say, after the ceremony, we both felt immediate relief to no longer be the center of attention. Well, sort of. (*Spoiler alert, when you’re the bride and groom, you’re always the center of attention. Sorry for you introverts!).
But in the end, it didn’t really matter. We enjoyed the rest of our beautiful day with the best family and friends around.
My heart couldn’t be more full.

Well, this is it 🙂 There are plenty more photos, and lots more of Zac and his groomsmen and other friends having fun at the wedding, but these are just a few of my favorites.
Simply put, the day was magical.
We are blessed.
Thank you to everyone who came. Thank you to everyone who helped. Thank you to the best parents and mother-in-law. Thank you to the best family. Thank you to my husband. Thank you Jesus.
